SolarisCare aims to improve the quality of life of cancer patients and carers by giving them the support they require to cope with the emotional and physical side effects of cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery. A purpose built drop-in centre provides a safe place to reflect and have time-out. Trained volunteers provide information, links to other support groups, a 'listening ear' and complementary therapies. Click here for more.

Since 2001, the SolarisCare Foundation has been making a difference in the lives of people affected by cancer. Its innovative approach to supportive care has been influential in changing the face of cancer care in Western Australia. Click here for more.

Steve Smith’s gym “Aspire Fitness” at the Claremont Oval is the home of the Chemo Club. Exercise has been shown to reduce the side effects from cancer treatment, improve energy levels, aid immune function, and may even improve outcomes in some types of cancer. The Chemo Club is free and operates totally on donated services and open to all cancer patients. For access to the Chemo Club you will need to present your SolarisCare treatment card.
